OB.Neon Beat Vici 2-1 to Secure Top 6 in Singapore Major
Filipino team OB.Neon defeated Vici Gaming 2-1 in the second round of the lower bracket to secure a top 6 finish in the Singapore Major.

OB.Neon were without the services of Rafael Sikat “Rappy” Palo and brought in Singaporean Yang “Deth” Wu Heng to play as a stand-in. They made it out of the group stages after finishing in 6th-7th place and faced fellow SEA representatives Fnatic in the lower bracket.
Neon dispatched Fnatic 2-1 to book a tie against Chinese juggernauts Vici Gaming in the next round.

Neon opened up the series with a safelane Medusa but Ren “oldeleven” Yangwei’s virtually unkillable Bristleback helped Vici draw first blood.
All three cores on the side of Neon hit the ground running in the second game to even the matchup 1-1. Erin Jasper “Yopaj” Ferrer’s slippery Puck was instrumental to the Pinoy side staying in the tie.

Neon stuck with the extremely mobile Puck-Nature’s Prophet duo in the deciding match and it proved too much for Zeng “Ori” Jiaoyang’s Ember Spirit and the rest of Vici to handle.
The multi-major winners called it a game after 29 minutes.
