CPU And HAU Faces Off In University Alliance Cup Wild Rift Finals On June 13
The ASUS Republic of Gamers University Alliance Cup (UAC) League of Legends: Wild Rift finals on June 13 will feature the intercollegiate esports powerhouse Holy Angel University’s Valiant Esports Club facing off against Iloilo’s best Central Philippine University’s Golden Lions Esports.

The inaugural season of the UAC Wild Rift proved to be quite easy for both teams as they finished at the top of the group stages with the Golden Lions finishing first at Group A with 12 points and a record of 4/1/0 whilst Valiant topping Group B with 13 points and a record of 4/0/1.
With two out of the five stat leaders from the group stage coming from the roster, the Valiant Winks composed of Ralph “Coool” Zapanta, Ken “Neks” Pineda, Chino “Shino” Engallado, Kyle “Kome” Reyes, Raymond “MONDESAURUS” Dizon, Kelvin “Kelvs” Pineda, and Michael “Crown” Alejo waited for the semis wherein they eventually stomped Philippine Normal University-Manila’s PNU SULO 3-2.
Meanwhile, the Golden Lions roster composed of Aljason “Wisdomous” Javier, Justine “Tokage” Importante, Joshua “Soul” Harder, Clyde “Dux” Castro, Renz “Fearless” Artida, and Billy “Wiezhao” Lo went all out and swept the historically dominant Teletigers Esports Club 3-0.
