Puppey is now the only TI all-timer
Clement “Puppey” Ivanov has finally beaten Kuro “KuroKy” Takhasomi in the All-Time leadership of The International appearances as KuroKy and Team Nigma were pushed to the cliff by OG in the Lower Bracket Finals of TI Regional Qualifiers in Western Europe.

Puppey attended every TI with just two teams, Natus Vincere and Team Secret. Puppey played his first four TIs as Na’Vi captain and lined up alongside KuroKy in TI3 and TI4.
The two became worlds apart come TI5 as Puppey and KuroKy became flag bearers of two different teams. Puppey came to Team Secret play as captain and KuroKy came to Team Liquid to do the same.
Nine TIs had passed with these two leaving their footprints on it. KuroKy came up short against OG and the loss cost him his 10th consecutive appearance in TI, leaving Puppey as the winner of the decade-long bout between them.
This coming October is the first TI without KuroKy. Will Puppey continue his momentum and break the curse for Team Secret and finally bring the organization’s first Aegis of Champions?
