FEATURED STORIES— ConcernedApe (@ConcernedApe) August 21, 2021
ConcernedApe, in collaboration with Zach “UnsurpassableZ” Hartman, a renowned streamer of the game, has prepared an extensive list of over a hundred challenges with varying levels of difficulty. Tasks range from harvesting a starfruit (15 pts), reaching Level 50 of the mines (10 pts), to crafting a staircase (5 pts), and many more. In addition, teams will be given a three-hour timeframe to prioritize and accomplish these challenges in hopes of bagging the top spot on the leaderboard.
Each consisting of four players, the following are the participating teams: Sandy’s Candies, Pierree’s Cherries, Pam’s Yams, and Krobus’s Crocuses. They will all go head-to-head for the massive $40,000 (2 million pesos, if converted) prize pool.
Although the participants were given two weeks of preparation, surprise events are up in store to catch the competitors off guard.
The Stardew Valley Cup will go live at 1 AM in Philippine Standard Time on UnsurpassableZ’s Twitch channel, and will be hosted by him and the game’s creator, ConcernedApe.
