PlayPark PH and Their Community Donates More than 1 Million Pesos for COVID-19 Response
PlayPark PH, responsible for bringing games to the country such as Cabal Mobile, and their community donated more than PHP 1,000,000 to the Philippine General Hospital Medical Foundation Inc., along with several other institutions, for COVID-19 response.
Owing to their ever-supportive community, Cabal Mobile PH’s community was able to gather PHP 366,252 during their charity stream event that happened last August. PlayPark PH then decided to give an additional PHP 700,000 donation to make it a total of PHP 1,066,252.
The donations were then given to the Philippine General Hospital Medical Foundation Inc., along with other charitable institutions, that offered services in the fight against COVID-19.
As per their press release, the beneficiaries were notified of their respective donations and all safety precautions were observed prior, during, and after the turnovers were conducted during the month of September.
“In behalf of our kababayans affected by Covid19, taos puso akong nagpapasalamat sa lahat ng nagbigay ng tulong. Our community’s willingness and heart for sharing are beams of light in the midst of the pandemic,” said Apollo Dionglay, Managing Director for PlayPark Philippines.
As the Christmas season approaches, PlayPark PH’s generosity continues as they plan another donation drive in light of their beloved PlayPark tradition: the PlayPark Xtreme Paskuhan or PPXP.
PlayPark Inc. hosts a wide variety of PC and mobile games on its site, ready for download and playing. Aside from the massively popular Cabal Mobile, PlayPark also offers other games like Club Audition Mobile, Cabal, RF Online, and others.
