Amihan Esports recently came back as Amihan NFT Gaming after their announcement on their Facebook page.

“Amihan will shift from modern-day esports to the future of gaming, Amihan – NFT Gaming,” Amihan stated.

Prior to this announcement, Amihan initially disbanded due to their banishment from official Riot Games events for 12 months due to forging a player’s documents.

Amihan can be recalled as one of the top teams in the budding Philippine League of Legends: Wild Rift scene, even reaching the top spot of the global rankings by GosuGamers in July of this year.

Their roster was eventually picked up by Cosmic University, save for Karl Ken “Karlll” Bautista who was banned for 9 months due to the said Amihan scandal.

With their return to the gaming space, Amihan is now focused on expanding their crypto portfolio as they look for more players and streamers that are interested in playing NFT games. Recruitment is done via messaging their Facebook page.
