PH’s Vagabonds Esports claims first-ever CODM Garena Survivors title

*/?>

The Philippines’ Vagabonds Esports have established themselves as the kings of Call of Duty: Mobile Battle Royale Garena after claiming the first-ever Garena Survivors title last night, June 11.

Vagabonds completely dominated the 16-team lobby by racking up a total of 278 points: 122 from placement points and 156 from kill points. They had 80 points to spare against second-placer AMT Prime who finished with 198 points.

Vagabonds’ dominance was not just a simple one, but rather an utter shutdown of the rest of the teams on the battlefield. They won a stunning 9 matches, exactly half of the 18 total, to record an incredible 50% win rate. The championship team composed of Josef Brey “Blue” Evidente, John Christopher “Nash” Simbulan Jr., Luke Emmanuel “Lukie” Jorolan, Jacq “Yato” Gelacio Maranga, and Kevin Miles “Kevsup” Taller gunned down all the other championship-caliber teams with such ease they seemingly didn’t even break a sweat in doing so.

FEATURED STORIES

With the win, Vagabonds Esports will claim 10,000 USD or approximately 500,000 PHP of the 25,000 USD prize pool. They will now also be immediately seeded in the playoffs of the Garena Invitational – Battle Royale (GIBR) along with eight other teams in the grand finals. They include AMT Prime, XIII Academy, VVV Esports VICI, 4 Kings, VVV Esports VIDI, Vagabonds Nomads, VVV Esports VENI, and NRX 4:20.
