A Quick Rundown of New Games Presented at Summer Games Fest’s Kickoff Stream

E3 is still out of the picture but that doesn’t mean we won’t have a collective event that bundles together all the new game announcements we should look forward to this year.

Summer Games Fest’s Kickoff Stream went live earlier today (timezone difference made us advanced by a day) and here’s a quick rundown of games that were presented:

To start things off, CAPCOM’s Street Fighter 6 debuted its first exclusive gameplay with a special character reveal.

Then we have a new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare title (as if we truly ever need more).

The much-anticipated survival horror game The Callisto Protocol also released its raw game footage at the event.

We have another Alien game coming up with Aliens: Dark Descent.

The sequel of the 30-year-old PC game Flashback, unambiguously titled Flashback 2, was showcased.

Here’s an in-depth look at Witchfire gameplay from indie Polish video game developer The Astronauts.

After its announcement a decade ago, Routine finally had its world premiere.

For fans of RTS games like StarCraft, Stormgate by FrostGiant is also coming soon.

Space horror game Fort Solis was also revealed.

Outriders Worldslayer is coming this June 30.

Did you know Fall Guys: Free For All will be free on the PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and the Epic Games Store starting June 21?

Highwater is a new adventure strategy game set in a world ravaged by extreme climate change.

A 70’s retro-futuristic game called American Arcadia is coming soon.

Goat Simulator 3 is here!

Did you enjoy Cuphead? New footage of the Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course DLC was teased.

Marvel fans also had something to look forward to with Marvel’s Midnight Suns.

This visual novel/parkour/FPS game called Neon White is something we want to play.

Jacob Dzwinel, a solo developer & dad from Poland, brought Midnight Fight Express – a fast-paced action game built on the Unity engine.

MiHoYo’s ever-expanding #HoYoVerse was also showcased through their two new games Zenless Zone Zero and Honkai: Star Rail.

There’s some news on WARFRAME.

Soul Hackers 2, sequel to Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers and the fifth installment of the Devil Summoner series, was announced.

TMNT fans went COWABUNGA over the announcement of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge by Tribute Games.

Monkey D. Luffy and his crew is set to come at PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, and PC through One Piece Odyssey

Metal: Hellsinger, a unique rhythm FPS game, debuted a demo.

The Quarry’s trailer was launched.

Nightingale’s new Realm Card system was shown.

Saints Row had a couple of announcements of their own as well.

There’s a brand-new world premiere gameplay trailer for Warhammer 40k: Darktide

The first-person psychological horror game Layers of Fears was unveiled.

DC fans also had their announcement of Gotham Knights.

Lastly. we also had a sneak peek at the much-anticipated The Last of Us HBO adaptation.
