Vagabonds Esports takes over SEA again to claim second straight Garena Survivors title
Filipino CODM battle royale Vagabonds Esports dominated Southeast Asia again to secure their second straight Garena Survivors title.
Vagabonds continued to lead and dictate the pace against an entire lobby full of the best Garena CODM BR teams have to offer as they ran through them all again in this iteration of the Garena Survivors.
Much like Garena Survivors 1 where they finished comfortably ahead with 9/18 round wins and 282 total points, Vagabonds Esports ended GS2 with a whopping 278 points, 186 of which came through kill points while 96 were redeemed from placement points. They finished with a total of 7 round wins out of the 18 rounds played, which is four more than the second placer and sister team Vagabonds Nomads.
The Nomads meanwhile, finished second place overall via 226 total points (174 kill points and 52 placement points) while Garena Survivors 1 runner-up AMT Prime bagged the third spot this time with a total of 172 points and 4 round wins to their name.
With the win, the championship team led by team captain Josef Brey “Blue” Evidente, John Christopher “Nash” Simbulan Jr., Luke Emmanuel “Lukie” Jorolan, Jacq “Yato” Gelacio Maranga, and mainstays Kevin Miles “Kevsup” Taller and Janzell “Demon” Flores will receive the lion’s share of the 25,000 USD prize pool amounting to 10,000 USD (approximately 560,000 PHP).
