The Philippine Esports Organization (PESO) just announced the forfeiture of Aurorus from its National Grassroots Program (NGP) VALORANT Tournament amidst the cheating scandal caused by two Aurorus players.
“In light of the recent investigations conducted by Riot Games and Aurorus regarding cheating allegations during our recent NGP Valorant tournament, the Philippine Esports Organization has accepted Aurorus forfeiture from the tournament,” PESO announced.
The two players in question were none other than Justin “Tatsilog” Sy and Mark “AriasRav3n” Raven. The two players also received a 6-month ban from all PESO and NGP-sanctioned events.

Furthermore, Tatsilog also worsened the situation as he tried to clear his name by blasting everyone that accused him with multiple insults and profanities.
With the accusations getting heated, Aurorus eventually cut ties with both players as they confirmed through their internal review that the two players were indeed cheating in VALORANT.

Moreover, Tatsilog’s VALORANT account was also banned, and claimed he didn’t know why.
With Aurorus forfeiting, PESO was forced to hold an offline best-of-3 finals match between the team that Aurorus defeated in the semis and in the finals, with Star Pyxis ultimately winning the match.
Meanwhile, Tatsilog has since maintained his social media silence after his multiple bans.
