NAOS Reveals New Lineup, SBE Releases Entire VALORANT Roster
The Filipino VALORANT pro scene is yet to settle down as NAOS recently revealed their new lineup, while South Built Esports (SBE) released their entire VALORANT roster.

After releasing a brief teaser yesterday, NAOS unveiled its new VALORANT lineup as they gun for the Ascension series next year.
First, they retained their young prodigies in Noel “NDG” De Guia and Jerome “Mojer” Literal, who were added back in July of this year. Next, they poached the duo of Johnty “JA” Arone and Frederico “PapiChulo” Evangelista from SBE after the organization released their entire roster. Finally, the last player of NAOS was no other than Riley “Witz” Go — who was LFT-ing for quite sometime after his Team Secret stint — which should come as no surprise for NAOS fans as he had previously guested in the KKaimo Talks along with his girlfriend Een Mercado.

NAOS VALORANT had a fantastic start during its debut as they were able to perform well and snag a VCT APAC Stage 1: Challengers Playoffs appearance with their debut roster (who are also currently looking for a new org this season). Unfortunately, that would end up as their only significant finish this year as NAOS repeatedly faltered in succeeding VCT tournaments.
With a new look, the new NAOS roster now features the following:
- Noel “NDG” De Guia
- Jerome “Mojer” Literal
- Johnty “JA” Arone
- Frederico “PapiChulo” Evangelista
- Riley “Witz” Go
- Vince Sambillon “Backstab” Belino (Manager)
- Derren “aimix” dela Cruz (Coach)

In a shocking twist, Filipino VALORANT mainstay SBE released their entire roster despite their relative success this VCT off-season.

The announcement just came days after they won Mineski VxV 2022 — the biggest VALORANT offseason tournament in the country — where they swept Oasis Gaming 3-0 in the grand finals.
Furthermore, both JA and PapiChulo were also revealed to have been picked up by NAOS for its new lineup.
Just like NAOS, SBE has had some success this year in the VCT stage as they too represented the country in the VCT APAC Stage 1: Challengers Playoffs as the top Filipino team but were eventually knocked out by Indonesia’s BOOM Esports. Besides their two VCT-PH playoff appearances this year, SBE also went to the grand finals of Predator League 2022 – Philippines where they eventually lost 2-0 to Rex Regum Qeon.
With no players on their roster, SBE’s future in VALORANT remains uncertain as the 2023 season nears and one can only wait for updates if they would find a roster replacement.
Prior to their disbandment, SBE’s roster was composed of the following:
