Team Secret Drops Coach Fayde From VALORANT Roster
After just one competitive year, Team Secret dropped its VALORANT coach, Chong “Fayde” Hoc Wah, from its roster.
Guess I'm late to the LFT party, officially dropped by @teamsecret as they've decided to hire a new coach for the upcoming year.
LFT as Head Coach/Assistant Coach, willing to relocate to any region. Open to GC offers as well since most teams already hired a coach!
DM is open~

The news was shared by Fayde himself through a sudden Looking For Team tweet, with Team Secret yet to officially announce the Malaysian coach’s departure.
Fayde joined the team back in January of this year following the departure of Coach Gilbert “Gibo” Sales Jr. (who took a break from VALORANT at the time). During his time as a coach, Team Secret’s approach to the game featured experimental tactics such as moving Riley “Witz” Go to the Jett role instead of Jayvee “DubsteP” Paguirigan, which unfortunately backfired on the team as they failed to qualify for any of the VCT LAN tournaments this year.
Moreover, Team Secret has yet to win an off-season tournament – with the team only earning a semifinal finish at the Predator League 2022 – Philippines, a second-place finish behind DRX at the Daejeon Valorant Invitational, and another semifinal finish at the Valorant India Invitational by Galaxy Racer. With no announcements from Team Secret, it is still shrouded in mystery who Fayde was referring to as the new VALORANT coach of the team (or if Team Secret is still in the process of looking for one). For now, their roster features the following players:
- Jessie “JessieVash” Cuyco
- Jayvee “DubsteP” Paguirigan
- Jim “BORKUM” Timbreza
- Jeremy “Jremy” Cabrera
- Lionel “lenne” Lim
- Adrian Jiggs “invy” Reyes
