Smart Omega Empress was composed of Mery Christine “Meraay” Vivero, Kaye Maerylle “Keishi” Alpuerto, Rica Fatima “Amore” Amores, Sheen “Shinoa” Perez, and new player addition Gwen “Not Ayanami” Diagon, along with their new coach Abraham “Coach Bam” Unida.
Their path to victory featured a long road as they took down Risk Velkhana (2-1), Z4 Prodigy (2-0), Above The Law Fe (2-0), Rocka Azure (2-0), and their grand final opponent ZOL Esports EastCreek (2-0).
With their victory, Coach Bam will be the appointed Head Coach of the SIBOL Women’s MLBB team for the 32nd SEA Games.
Furthermore, the official roster will be determined through a combine that will involve the top four teams of the qualifiers, specifically Smart Omega Empress, ROCKA AZURE, ZOL Esports, and West Point Esports Vixens. This team would also be the first-ever all-female MLBB representatives of the country for a SEA Games outing and the second all-female esports team for SIBOL after the gold medal-winning GrindSky Eris in last year’s SEA Games.
