Prior to their matchup, Smart Omega’s Billy “Z4pnu” Alfonso posted: “Blacklist unang malalaglag sa playoffs, kakain ako bubog kung hindi!”

In response, after sweeping Smart Omega, Blacklist’s Jonmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna provided no comments on Z4pnu’s trash talk but shared how they’re afraid of karma instead.

“No comment. Compared sa ibang tao, takot ako sa karma (Compared to other people, I’m afraid of the karma),” the queen of the agents simply stated.

The Blacklist International-Smart Omega series saw a familiar indomitable form for the defending MPL PH champions.

For Games 1 and 2, Edward “EDWARD” Dapadap claimed back-to-back game MVPs as he claimed a 2/0/5 KDA with Joy and a 3/2/8 KDA with Arlott. The start of the series also saw a surprise TankCelot pick from Danerie James “Wise” Del Rosario, proving that King Wise can also use assassin heroes.

In Game 3, OhMyV33nus flew the Mathilda Airlines once more and scored a deathless 1 kill and 18 assists to claim the game MVP honors.

With their win, Blacklist International eliminated Smart Omega from the playoffs of the MPL PH S11.

RSG Slate PH Stops ONIC Time

Meanwhile, the second series of the day saw RSG Slate PH stomp ONIC Philippines via another 3-0 sweep.

The currently reigning MSC champions performed a raid masterclass in Game 1 as they finished the game 14-1 in just fifteen minutes of action. For this game, RSG continued to favor John “Irrad” Abarquez over John “H2wo” Salonga in the jungle which went well as the promoted MDL player recorded 9 assists with no deaths.

Moving on to Game 2, RSG almost lost the game if it weren’t for a crucial Lord steal from Irrad’s Hayabusa late in the game. They then closed the series out in Game 3 thanks to Nathanael “Nathzz” Estrologo’s 5/0/6 Arlott.

RSG’s win over ONIC meant they eliminated the hedgehogs from the playoffs, putting a stop to ONIC time.

With both of their respective victories, Blacklist International and RSG Slate PH move on to the next stage of the playoffs where they will be facing the top two seeds in Bren Esports and ECHO Philippines, respectively.
