Mineski Grabs Hitbox Obutto Dota 2 Championship
In what seems to be a continuation of their amazing trophy run, Mineski took the bacon after beating First Departure in the grand finals of the Hitbox Obutto Dota 2 Championship, 3-2. Mineski already had a one-game advantage which made it a bit easier for them to grab the crown, along with a cash prize of $2500 (P 110,000).
This time around, there were no stand-ins as the Mineski roster was playing in full force, which was composed of Siong Tait “JoHnNy” Lee, Ryan Jay “Jay” Qui, Ralph Richard “RR” Peñano, Chuan “Ah Fu” Tue and Joshua “Owa” Dela Cerna.
They will play with the same roster in the upcoming OK.-Dota 2 Championship this Dec. 26 to 28, 2014, where they will be fighting for a $ 50,000 (P1.7 million) prize pool.
This is their third title in a month, after winning both the Selangor Cyber Games and the MOL Dota 2 Championship.
Here are the results of the tournament:
1st place: Mineski ($2500 = P 110,000)
2nd place: First Departure ($500 = P 22,000)
