Hearthstone’s Tavern Brawl This Week is the Grand Tournament Match!
After revealing all the cards to be included in The Grand Tournament (TGT) expansion a few days ago, Hearthstone announced that this week’s Tavern Brawl would be TGT inspired!
Similar to the Ragnaros vs Nefarian brawl, players will be getting their first taste of TGT by facing each other using either Medivh, with an Inspire-themed deck, or Alleria with a Joust-centric one.
Inspire is a new mechanic introduced in the expansion that utilizes or empowers the hero power of the class you are playing. Joust, on the other hand, will be triggered if you play certain minions that will reveal a random minion on each player’s hand. The played card will then execute its effect if you win the said Joust.
The Grand Tournament Match will be live by Thursday, 1 a.m. PHT and with a few days left in August, the excitement continues for TGT and Hearthstone!
