Team Renovatio Books Ticket to Global Heroes of the Storm Championship
Filipino Heroes of the Storm (HotS) team Renovatio secures their spot in the half-a-million-dollar Heroes Global Circuit Summer Championship in Sweden after bagging the Southeast Asian (SEA) regional title on May 22 (Sunday).
Renovatio faced Singaporean team Relics, 2015 Road to Blizzcon Champions, in the HotS Summer Championship SEA Regionals where the Filipinos emerged victorious after taking the grand finals series 2-1. Relics took the first match of the game pushing the Filipinos against the walls. The Filipinos come back with two straight game victories to book their flight to the global championship.
“Salamat sa lahat ng sumuporta sa amin lalo na sa Renovatio at T9 community!” said cZz, Renovation’s team manager, in a press release.
The Filipino team will join 11 other teams in Jonkoping, Sweden this June 18 to 20 to get their part of the $500,000 prize pot and claim the HotS Summer title.
