With them sitting out this year’s The International after a catastrophic DPC run, SMG are determined to give the next season a shot. The contract with Daryl “iceiceice” Koh Pei Xing just ended, and the team is now looking for a player to fill the off-laner role. Currently, the team is comprised of:

Even with a roster backed by two-time TI champions Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen and Anathan “Ana” Pham, T1 failed to secure their spot in The International 11. Following their loss in the Last Chance Qualifiers, the team is probably looking to make changes in its roster. Meanwhile, Carlo “Kuku” Palad and Matthew “Whitemon” Filemon are looking for teams while still under T1 contract. There is no news as of now regarding Ana and Topson’s status with T1 post-TI11. The team’s current roster composes of:

  • Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen
  • Anathan “ana” Pham
  • Carlo “Kuku” Palad
  • Matthew “Whitemon” Filemon
  • Kenny “Xepher” Deo

Sources claim that a plan to form a new Filipino Dota 2 team is in the works. However, there are no confirmations regarding what organization this team will be from, who its players will be, nor if this claim is true in the first place.
