Despite the map being their choice, the Adobo Gang looked frail for Game 1 on Lotus as they got smothered 13-4 by T1. Secret only managed to secure two round wins per half despite Jayvee “DubsteP” Paguirigan bringing out his signature Jett back.

Meanwhile, even though Jessie “JessieVash” Cuyco’s previous statements on their Bind performance in scrims were hopeful, Secret lost the game and the series on Bind 13-8. Their first half was a bit shaky as T1 managed to outscore them by two rounds coming into halftime but Secret managed to tie the game by Round 14. However, T1 took the bonus round away from the Filipino squad which was then converted into a four-round win streak. After getting the dub in Round 19, Secret crumbled and lost in back-to-back rounds to finish the series without securing a map in their series against T1.

Team Secret currently sits in seventh place at the VCT Pacific League 2023 rankings, just below their Filipino compatriots in Rex Regum Qeon who are currently in sixth place. Secret will have to get big wins against their last two matchups, DRX and Global Esports, to be able to get into the playoffs.
