Spotify Partners with LoL Esports
Riot Games announced a multi-year partnership with Spotify as the official audio and music streaming partner for LoL Esports.
Spotify will be producing content for Riot Games’ global events such as Worlds, the Mid-Season Invitational, and All-Stars.
As a part of their partnership, Spotify will be curating a LoL Esports Music Hub with music, podcasts, and playlists to provide “an even richer League of Legends fan experience”. Spotify will also be producing behind-the-scenes look at the making of the Worlds Anthem.
Lastly, Spotify will be developing podcasts such as “Untold Stories: Top Moments from Worlds”, a 10-episode series about unique stories from each Worlds thus far.
Riot Games and Spotify’s partnership is a first within the industry and hopes to provide fans a better experience when spectating League of Legends.
