Horizon, God of War gets live series, Gran Turismo receives film adaptation
Horizon and God of War are set to get their own series while Gran Turismo will receive its own film adaptation as revealed during a Sony Pictures Entertainment business briefing on Thursday, May 26, 2022.

Here’s a quick rundown of where each series will be streamed:
- Horizon – Netflix
- God of War – Amazon
- Gran Turismo – a movie adaptation similar to Uncharted
It is still unclear to fans if the shows will closely follow the games they are based on. We can recall the live movie adaptation of Uncharted did not precisely follow the plots of the games and had a plethora of creative liberties at its disposal.
These three game franchises add to a growing list of video game adaptations which includes the likes of Arcane (League of Legends), Netflix’s Castlevania, the Sonic film franchise, and Dota: Dragon’s Blood.
