SIBOL PUBGM scores bronze in Individual Tournament during 32nd SEA Games
SIBOL PUBG Mobile’s Abdul “Monboy” Barode scored a bronze medal finish at the PUBGM Individual Tournament during the 32nd Southeast Asian Games.
Monboy was part of SIBOL’s PUBGM deliberation for the individual category that was composed of players from PlayBook Esports, KHI Esports, and GameLab Alpha. He also represented SIBOL in the team category where both Filipino teams unfortunately did not get any medal finishes.
Monboy had two big placement finishes during the individual tournament, finishing in fourth place during Round 2 at Miramar and a third place finish on Round 4 at Erangel. With 69 placement points and 12 kill points, he recorded 81 points which was tied with Vietnam’s Nguyễn “ParaJin” Đình Chiến whom he shares his bronze medal with.
Monboy’s bronze medal meant that SIBOL has successfully secured a medal in every event they participated in, securing two golds from League of Legends: Wild Rift and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Men’s Division, a silver medal in Women’s MLBB, and two more bronze medals from CrossFire and VALORANT.
