The SIBOL PUBG MOBILE – Individual representatives entered Day 2 fresh from a relatively good run from the previous day.
Unfortunately, the Filipino representatives only managed to crawl just outside the podium by the end of the day. Reimon Allen “Rymon” Casido was the highest out of all the ranked Filipinos as he made it into the 5th spot overall. Raymund Arbie “H2R” Basilio wasn’t too far from his compatriot as he sat at the 7th spot. Meanwhile, the last of the Filipinos in the top 20 was no other than Francis Carl “Range” Fusinganis in 11th place.
This loss marks the fourth title where SIBOL has failed to make a podium appearance in the esports competitions of the 31st SEA Games in Hanoi, Vietnam. Besides the PUBG MOBILE – Individual, SIBOL also failed at the Men’s League of Legends: Wild Rift, FIFA Online 4, and SIBOL Free Fire competitions.
Nonetheless, SIBOL remains hopeful with the PUBG MOBILE country representatives as they will finally have a chance to showcase their teamwork at the PUBG MOBILE – Team tournament.
